Sunday Brunch Club - Week 50

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! This weekend was a fun one for us because today is the LA marathon. We had so many friends that were in town for events, and got to enjoy spending some time with them. We also live super close to part of the marathon course, so I walked down to cheer for a few friends who were racing. There’s nothing like watching a marathon to give you some motivation. In fact, it inspired me to go on my longest run in a while! I made it 6 miles with a running friend this weekend, but I did need an extra day or two to recover 😅.
Today was also the start of Daylight Savings Time, which means more daylight from now until fall. Although it can be a tough adjustment, especially for early risers, I always look forward to those longer days that start to feel like spring is in the air. Plus, I’ve got some tips today to help you adjust to the time change!

Food for thought: This weekend with so many people in town for the LA marathon, I found myself in a lot of situations where I had to socialize with people I don’t know. I was reflecting on how this used to make me nervous but no longer does, and wanted to share my thoughts on why I think that is.
