Sunday Brunch Club - Week 19

I hope everyone is having a great weekend and a great start to August! Nick and I drove up the coast to the beautiful town of Ojai to see one of our old teammates who was in town. We also did our first double digit long run (10 miles!) this morning, and will officially start our New York City Marathon training tomorrow 🥳.
I shared in my monthly newsletter on Friday that the start of a new training block can be daunting, but I’m feeling incredibly grateful for this opportunity and so ready to buckle down for these next 12 weeks. I also want to say that I’m incredibly grateful to all of you who subscribe to the Sunday Brunch Club. It means so much to me to have so many people in this community, so thank you for being here! I’d love to hear from you guys with any feedback, thoughts for future content, or just sharing about yourself. Food for thought: This has been an exciting weekend with the USA Championships taking place in Eugene, Oregon. Having been on that start line before, I wanted to share my thoughts on pressure and how I would handle it today knowing what I know now.
