Sunday Brunch Club - Week 4

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! Now that it’s finally warm enough to sit on the patio, Nick and I (ok fine mostly Nick) got our new bird feeder and hummingbird feeder all set up. We have a few hummingbird regulars already, but no takers on the bird feeder yet so if anyone has any tips on how to lure birds let me know! 😅

In today’s newsletter:

  • Weekly accountability challenge: balance your plates using the performance plate model. Not sure what that means? Find out below!

  • Science corner: This one comes from a reader who responded to the last email! They wanted to know if baking soda, aka sodium bicarbonate, actually improves performance so I’m breaking that down in today’s newsletter.

  • Food for thought: This weekend some crazy fast times were run by some high schoolers. While impressive, I share my thoughts on how sometimes less can be more for young runners.
