Sunday Brunch Club - Week 9

Happy Sunday! Last night, Track Fest took place at Occidental College, which is near where we live in LA. Nick and I got to reunite with our former Team Boss teammates and cheer everyone on at the track. It was so much fun to be in that environment again, and see some of our closest friends brought to us by the sport. I have a feeling it’s going to be quite the summer of track!
In today’s newsletter:
What’s for dinner? I’ve planned out your week in meals and snacks so you don’t have to! Check out my menu plan for the week, and some simple recipes to go with it.
Weekly accountability challenge: We’re finishing our month long social media cleanup challenge with this week’s focus on cleaning up your actual social media feed!
Science corner: Do you ever wonder if you should be taking an iron supplement as a runner? The short answer is, not everyone needs an iron supplement. I’ll break that down in today’s Science Corner.
Food for thought: In response to a recent Fueling Forward Podcast episode, a few people mentioned that not everyone can eat whatever they want. So, I wanted to give my thoughts on why I disagree and what “eating whatever you want” means to me as a dietitian.
